Lockdowns and the Police State

It is sad to see that many people in India are gladly acquiescing to the Police State. Here’s an example of a post being circulated on social media here, about a new lockdown being enforced by one of the State governments.

I’m curious about the nature and contents of the agreement that the government has negotiated with “the virus”, for them to be able to confidently project the new lockdown’s end date of May 1, 2021.
